The Recircle Awards is a global event designed to recognise the contribution of companies and individuals within the tire manufacturing, retreading and recycling industries towards the Circular Economy.
In 2022, it was an honor for BLACKCYCLE project to be nominees in the field of Best Tire Recycling Research Project.
Blakcycle was neck and neck with the winning project. The BlackCycle project received an “Honourable Mention” from the commentator.
The winner was the project “Determination of the Biomass Content of ELTs”. This group of researchers has developed a study to determine the biomass content in tires at the end of their useful life. This is a very important work that can be taken as a reference by various research.
Blakcycle has its nominee certificate. This certificate recognizes its nomination in the Recircle Awards for 2022 and serve to notice the excellence of the project in the field Of Best Tire Recycling Research Project.
The consortium keeps on working to have more and more result to be candidate next year.
