Instituto de Carboquímica is a research centre that belongs to CSIC. It is structured in different research groups focused on energy, environment and the development of new carbon-based materials. The Environmental Research Group develops its activities within this institute owning different pyrolysis experimental facilities and analytical techniques that will be used in the Blackcycle project framework. Along the last years, this group has positioned as one of the most relevant groups around the world in waste tyre pyrolysis publishing more than 30 papers in different high impact factor scientific journals.

Optimisation of waste tyre pyrolysis, large- scale production and distillation of pyrolytic oil.
